Khloe Kardashian denies throwing shade at 'stunning' Halle Berry after harsh criticism

Khloe Kardashian has denied throwing shade at Halle Berry at the People’s Choice Awards after facing harsh criticism on social media.

The 37-year-old was accused by disappointed fans on Twitter of looking disinterested as the Oscar-winning actress took to the stage on Tuesday night to accept the People’s Icon Award.

Khloe was at the ceremony, which was hosted by Kenan Thompson and held at the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, California, with sister Kim Kardashian and momager Kris Jenner to take home the award for Best Reality Show of 2021.

But it was her reaction to Halle taking to the stage that irked some of her fans, who took to social media to air their frustrations.

“Okay who saw that ‘I don’t care’ sorta look on @khloekardashian when @halleberry was on stage, not cool man,” one wrote.

However, Khloe quickly fired back, and asked for a little more compassion from her followers online as she briefly touched upon the scandal surrounding her partner Tristan Thompson, who has recently fathered another child following reports of an affair.

“That’s disappointing my face gave that expression. Halle Berry is such a force. Absolutely Stunning and beyond talented,” she replied.

“Tbh I’m barely in my own body right now. Please don’t read into anything. Also please don’t tear me apart because you assumed something,” Khloe added.

The reality star, who shares three-year-old daughter True Thompson with the basketball player, was inundated with support from her loyal fans.

“Love you Khloe, sorry you had to read such nasty tweets. I hope you had a wonderful night," one wrote.

“I love you, thank you for always being so sweet. I am going to log off of Twitter on a positive note,” Khloe sweetly replied.

The Good American co-founder has yet to comment on Tristan’s ongoing baby mama drama, as he was recently named in a paternity lawsuit which was filed by personal trainer Maralee Nichols.

She alleged the sportsman is the father of her newborn son, who she welcomed on December 2, and reportedly conceived the child in March, when Tristan was with Khloe after reconciling.

The 30-year-old basketball player has since filed a gag order, demanding that Maralee should be prevented from speaking publicly about the ongoing paternity case.
