Khloe Kardashian has faced social media backlash after she furiously responded to Jordyn Woods’ tell-all interview on her supposed 'hook-up' with Tristan Thompson.
In an appearance on Jada Pinkett Smith's Red Table Talk, Woods revealed that the Cleveland Cavaliers player “kissed” her after a party, but suggested that she was not “the reason that Khloe and Tristan are not together.”
The 21-year-old model went on to add that she had “reached out” to Kardashian to apologise and even “offered to do a lie-detector test.”
Following the tweets, fans have blasted the star for not holding Thompson to account and instead focusing on Woods.
One user wrote: “I think the reason your family broke up was the guy who cheated on you.”
“He cheated on you multiple times and you stayed with him now be mad at your goddamn self instead of blaming Jordyn only,” said another.
A third added: “Now we all know #JordynWoods was not the reason why Kylie and Tristan broke up. He’s been cheating on her since Day 1 and continues to do so even after the fact. Jordyn kissing her man was just the cherry on top. That’s all. #RedTableTalk.”
Another blasted: “No she is not the reason. Your relationship/family was broken up last year the first time he cheated. You have just been trying to salvage something that was never going to work because he won’t change, Tristan is a habitual cheater, clearly! So stop only blaming @jordynwoods.”
The backlash comes after Woods claimed she had reached out to the star, during her Red Table Talk with Jada Pinkett Smith.
She said: “I did apologise to Khloe as much as I could do over the phone, over the text and until I get the opportunity to talk face-to-face.
“I offered as much as I could, a lie detector test, whatever makes her feel better, as much as I could. But at least they know it’s there.”
During the broadcast, Woods confirmed that though she was “drunk,” she was “not beyond the point of recollection,” and revealed that “on the way out [Thompson] did kiss me.”
Woods added: “Never once did we leave the public area, go to a bedroom, go to a bathroom, we’re all in plain sight.”
