Saudi Deputy Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman stressed on Sunday that the visit of Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq to the Kingdom is a “milestone” in relations between the two neighbors.
Sultan Haitham had arrived in Saudi Arabia on Sunday on a two-day official visit, his first foreign trip since ascending the throne last year. He met with Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and other officials.
Prince Khalid tweeted that the visit “establishes a new milestone in the historic and deep-rooted Saudi-Omani relationship, which will deepen cooperation and create prosperity for both peoples.”
