Saudi Deputy Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman met in Riyadh on Tuesday with Yemen’s President Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi.
Prince Khalid conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and their hopes for more progress and stability to the Yemeni people.
In a tweet, Prince Khalid said he discussed with Hadi the latest developments in Yemen and Saudi Arabia’s firm stance towards the brotherly Yemeni people and their legitimate government.
He underscored the Kingdom’s support for all ongoing efforts to reach a comprehensive solution that ends the crisis and achieves security and stability in Yemen.
He underlined the deep fraternal relations that bind the Saudi and Yemeni peoples and governments.
These ties are the foundation of all Saudi initiatives towards Yemen, he stressed.
