Khal Drogo on This Morning! Jason Momao has Phillip Schofield in superfan mode out as Aquaman star plays with trident

This Morning’s Phillip Schofield had a total fanboy moment as he interviewed Aquaman star Jason Momoa – and even played with his trident.

Schofield was in his element as he quizzed Momoa, who plays the titular character in the upcoming DC Universe film, before getting into character himself.

Superfan Schofield grabbed the trident and shouted “I can command the ocean!” before grinning at his new Ocean Master role.

This Morning viewers were tickled by Schofield and his “man crush”.

One wrote: “The highlight of maternity leave so far.... @Schofe man crushing on Jason Momoa. Hilarious. #ThisMorning.”

Another said: “Ooh Jason momoa with his trident & wearing a scrunchie on his wrist on #ThisMorning my Wednesday has leveled up 100%.”

A third tweeted: “#ThisMorning @Schofe face when #JasonMomoa on the show #gameofthrones.”

Schofield earlier abandoned his co-host Rochelle Humes after she admitted she had never seen Game Of Thrones.

Before assuming the role of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry, Momoa played Khal Drogo in Game Of Thrones.

But the star revealed his kids, Lola Iolani and Nakoa-Wolf, will not be watching him in the HBO fantasy series for quite some time.

He said: “They’re not allowed to watch that until they have their own children!”

Momoa, 39, also confessed that he hasn’t seen Aquaman yet as he is waiting to watch the film with his “babies”.

The actor shares his children with Lisa Bonet who he wed in a private ceremony last year.

This Morning airs on ITV, weekdays at 10.30am. Aquaman is slated for cinema release on December 12.
