Khabib wouldn’t take a photo with a young Barcelona fan until he said ‘Hala Madrid’

UFC lightweight champ Khabib Nurmagomedov is a huge Real Madrid fan. He plays pickup soccer games in autographed Real Madrid jerseys and was in Kiev to watch Real Madrid win the 2018 Champions League title.

So, given his strong ties to Real Madrid, Khabib jokingly decided to have some fun at the expense of a young fan who happened to root for rival Barcelona.

A video made its way around Twitter this week showing the UFC star taking photos with a young fan. When a kid standing to the side asked for his own photo, Khabib said with a smile, “Hey, he’s a Barcelona guy, no. Only Real Madrid.”

That was when he struck a deal with the young fan.

Khabib said he would take a photo with him if he said, “Hala Madrid.” You could see as the youngster weighed his options before reluctantly deciding to do what it took to get that photo with Khabib.

He muttered, “Hala Madrid.”

Those words may be unthinkable for most Barcelona fans. But hey, this guy got the photo with Khabib. Gotta respect that.
