KFC to open hotel with rooms that have a ‘press for chicken’ button

Guests will be greeted by the ‘chick-in’ clerk

KFC has a weird but wonderful new addition – and surprisingly, it’s not on the menu.

The fast-food chain announced they are opening a KFC-themed pop-up hotel in London – with a “press for chicken” button in every room. Yes, you heard that right. You can have your very own chicken concierge at your fingertips.

Their recent ad celebrated KFC’s hardcore fans across the nation, and now they have the rare chance to relish in some much-needed escapism.

The exclusive staycation will start by getting personally picked up in a black Cadillac (aka the Colonelmobile) before heading over to your very own ‘chick-in’ clerk, who will cater to your fried chicken needs.

Each room is filled with botanical infused self-care essentials, a cinema room, a ‘Colonel Quest’ arcade machine and most importantly, a ‘press for chicken’ button – where you can get up to £100 free fried chicken for your overnight stay.

The pop-up hotel will be behind door 11 in the “House of Harland” and open for 11 nights (August 18 to 29) for £111 per room per night to celebrate the Colonel's lucky number. A hundred per cent of proceeds will go to The KFC Foundation, which supports grassroots organisations across the country that empower young people to unleash their potential and build a positive future.
