KFC has savagely put down budget food chain Iceland after they advertised an in store alternative to the fried chicken giant.
Whilst many Brits have been trying their hand at recreating their favourite takeaways at home, Iceland has come up with an affordable alternative for when you can't be bothered to make it yourself, reports Birmingham Live.
Their lockdown bundle includes chicken tenders, chicken popsters, chicken thighs, fries, corn on the cob, gravy and a soft-drink as an alternative to KFC.
They took to Instagram to promote their new offer on their story, saying: "Missing KFC?
"We've got the answer.
"Great value alternatives to your takeaway favourites in store and Iceland.co.uk".
But, KFC spotted the promotion online and were quick to give a sassy reply.
On Twitter they uploaded a screenshot of the story, and wrote: "This is why my mum goes to Tesco."
The brutal response received nearly 15,000 likes and 1,700 retweets.
Tesco then replied to the shoutout, backing KFC with a supportive handshake emoiji in the comments below.
The promotion came after KFC was forced to close its stores across the country to help stop the spread of coronavirus.
But now, KFC has reopened a select few up and down the country for delivery only, including Birmingham, Portsmouth and Staffordshire.
