KFC open in Liverpool as restaurants launch delivery only service

KFC has finally announced the news we’ve all been waiting for as several Liverpool restaurants open for delivery.

The chicken chain closed all 900 restaurants in the UK in March to prevent the spread of coronavirus, but announced last month that it would reopen for delivery on a limited basis.

Sadly, none of those were in Merseyside.

Now, just days after being told “good things come to those who wait” , KFC has revealed that three Liverpool restaurants are open for delivery from today.

The sites included are East Prescot Road, Litherland and Stonedale Retail Park.

Deliveries will be made through Just Eat , Deliveroo and UberEats.

The fast food chain has confirmed that there will be strict processes and hygiene measures in place, with a limited menu to help smaller kitchen teams maintain social distancing.

It is also continuing to donate and deliver 10,000 meals a week to NHS and key workers once the restaurants reopen.
