KFC launching delicious sounding vegan and vegetarian burgers at these locations

KFC has revealed it is trialling a vegan burger in several restaurants across Bristol .

The fast food retailer says the new Imposter burger will deliver the taste and crunch KFC is renowned for.

The chicken breast fillet will be replaced with a Quorn fillet, coated in herbs and spices and topped with fresh iceberg lettuce and creamy vegan mayo.

Customers can get their hands on KFC’s new vegan burger from Monday (June 17) for four weeks in restaurants across Bristol, London and the Midlands.

A new vegetarian creation is also being trialled from July 15 in the same locations.

The Southern Fritter Stacker will be available as a burger, as well as a wrap and ricebox.

Tony Davison, head of global foodservice and QSR at Quorn, commented: “We have no doubt that KFC fans are going to love the modern take on a finger lickin’ favourite.”

Dawn Carr, director of vegan corporate projects at PETA, added: "We're confident it will be a huge hit with the skyrocketing numbers of vegans, vegetarians, and flexitarians around the UK."
