KFC launches 80-piece popcorn chicken sharing bucket - for just £5.99

KFC will sell 80-piece buckets of Popcorn Chicken for a month.

The fried chicken chain says it will offer the bumper 'Popcorn Sharing Bucket' in UK restaurants between February 24 and March 2.

The buckets will contain 80 pieces of the popular bite-size Popcorn Chicken. As the name suggests, it is designed for sharing.

The bucket was first introduced in Scotland last year, but will be rolled out UK-wide for a month.

KFC teased that it was launching the product this morning, using a popular meme of US Presidential Candidate Bernie Sanders.

The picture of the potential Democratic candidate reads: "I am once again asking for you...to release the 80 Popcorn Bucket nationwide."

Posters advertising the promotion have been circulated on social media, which confirm the price of the 80-piece Popcorn Bucket will be £5.99.

Terms and conditions included on the posters say the buckets contain an 'average' of 80 pieces - so customers may get more or slightly less in their bucket.
