Donuts are delicious and fried chicken is delicious - but have you ever considered combining the two together to create the ultimate sandwich?
No, well that's ok, because KFC have done it for you.
The fast food chain has announced they are testing out a new donut and fried chicken sandwich in 40 locations.
And, the new item is exactly what it sounds like, a piece of fried chicken, sandwiched between two sweet glazed donuts.
If that weren't enough, the company is also offering customers the chance to buy a basket meal version of the sandwich.
Sadly the new sandwich isn't currently available to purchase in the UK.
At present, it's being offered for a limited time only to those living in the Norfolk/Richmond, Virginia and Pittsburgh areas of the United States.
The sandwich has been priced at $5.99 (£4.80), with the fried chicken and donut meal costing $5.49 for chicken on the bone or chicken tenders paired with one donut.
This can be purchased with two donuts for $7.49 or if you just want a single warm donut, you can add that on to any meal for an extra $1.
If the test goes well, the new sandwich could be sold across many more KFC branches in the future.
A spokesperson for KFC said: "Consumers are increasingly seeking novel, crave-able flavour combinations that give them the best of both sweet and savoury worlds to create a unique taste experience.
"Through this test market, KFC is evaluating consumer appetite for bringing this growing food trend to its customers on a national scale."
People on social media are already having mixed feelings about the donut sandwich.
One person tweeted: "This looks disgusting, when can I try it."
Another wrote: "KFC wants us to die so badly."
