A KFC restaurant in Tuebrook is giving away free food for any child during the half-term break.
The restaurant located on West Derby Road has joined in the flood of support to help hungry children in the area.
The subject of free school meals has been a huge talking point after the Conservative Government rejected a motion to continue the much publicised free school meals programme during October half-term.
Many businesses around the country have come together by offering free food and meals during this period.
This is after Premier League footballer, Marcus Rashford kick started a campaign to ensure underprivileged school children had access to free food over the holidays.

The England striker has been vocal about his efforts to end child food poverty and has been working to extend the government’s free school meals campaign into 2021.
However, the government blocked the bid and decided not to carry on with the scheme after a vote in parliament.
Now, a KFC franchise located in Tuebrook is doing its bit to ensure children in the area don’t go hungry.
The restaurant is offering a free snackbox and drink for any child between the hours of 11:30 and 12:30.
A sign pinned to a window of the restaurant confirms the initiative for every child looking to grab a bite to eat.
The KFC sign stated: "With what’s going on we want to do our bit for the community...Soul foods at heart. Free school meal on us!”
