KFC has been forced to apologise after the 'f-bomb' appeared on its gravy packaging.
Customer Alan Sinclair, from Jersey, was stunned when he spotted the word 'f****d' on the lid of the sauce.
The pot's label, which included 'preparation' and 'sell-by' information, said the gravy had been 'f****d' at 18:03.
The fast food chain has vowed to compensate Mr Sinclair over the blunder.
He spotted the rude label when he bought chicken for his children at the KFC in St Helier last week.

Taken aback, Alan took to 15,000-strong Facebook group 'Good or Bad Jersey Businesses' and posted a photo of the offending lid accompanied by the caption 'so in KFC today the lid of my gravy made some interesting reading'.
Dozens of users piled in with comments and tongue-in-cheek quips, such as 'glad your gravy had a good time'.
Another joked: "Maybe that's what the f really stands for in KFC".
A third said: "Now we know what the Colonel's secret recipe is. Heads will roll!"
KFC expressed regret for the mishap and pledged to make amends.
A spokesman said: "The Colonel isn't a fan of fowl language, and we'd never suggest our team members get in his naughty books.
"We're re-training our team members on the label machine and would love the guest to get in touch so we can make it up to them."
It comes after KFC started selling a £38 gravy-stained shirt that smells like the fast-food chain.
The new line of clothes is soaked in KFC gravy for a day, then dried for a few days before being given a chemical bath to keep the stain from fading.
Designer Coleman Larkin said the shirts were created in partnership with Kentucky for Kentucky, a retailer whose goods celebrate the US state.
