KFC bans teens from Welsh branch after gang trouble spilled out into street

Children and teenagers have been banned from a KFC branch after police had to be called when a gang started causing trouble.

Police said they were called to the Pool Street branch of the fast food chain in Caernarfon on Saturday night.

The bad behaviour then spilled onto the nearby Maes after they were told to leave the venue.

Now KFC has said no youths will be allowed inside the branch unless they are accompanied by an adult, NorthWalesLive has reported .

Parents are also being urged by police to ensure they know where their children are to prevent further incidents.

In a statement published on the North Wales Police Caernarfon and District Facebook page today, Inspector Jon Aspinall of North Wales Police, said: "This behaviour is not acceptable and evidence is being reviewed in relation to this incident with a view to identifying those responsible."

It added: "We would appeal for parents to be aware of where their children are and preventing further incidents like this.

"Caernarfon is a town which takes pride in its attraction to tourism and this behaviour will be addressed to prevent this valuable asset to the town being affected negatively."
