Keylor Navas sparks Nottingham Forest transfer theory amid Dean Henderson frustration

Nottingham Forest fans have pleaded with Keylor Navas to return to the City Ground this summer, after the goalkeeper posted a video of his best saves for the Reds last season.

Navas played a key role in Forest’s survival in the Premier League after joining the club on loan from Paris Saint-Germain in January, following an injury to on-loan Manchester United man Dean Henderson.

Having returned to PSG at the end of the season, Navas posted on Instagram over the weekend, writing: “About last season… I can’t wait to start again!!!”

His words were accompanied by video clips of his best saves for Forest.

Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White simply replied “Incredible” and a lot of Reds fans also responded, some wondering if the post was a hint over a City Ground return and others promptly pleading with him to return to the club.

One said “Come back to Forest Keylor”, while another asked: “Are you coming back to the city ground?! Please say you are!!”

A third fan added: “Wish you were doing it all again at the City Ground. Having played all over the world, I bet you can't name many better atmospheres in football, than a rocking City Ground!”

And a fourth supporter said: “Come back to Nottingham Forest, Keylor.”

Forest want to sign a new No 1 goalkeeper this summer, with Henderson their top target, although the Reds are being forced to wait on Manchester United to make a decision on his future amid their own search for a new No 1.
