David Moyes will have a first-hand view of many of the matches featuring West Ham players, and the chance to scout potential transfer signings as well, through his role with UEFA. The Hammers boss will be acting as a 'techincal observer' for the duration of the tournament.

Following the completion of Euro 2020 on July 11, or the exit of their country from the tournament, the Hammers players will have some time off to rest and relax before reporting for pre-season training.

As he did last summer Moyes will lead his team on a pre-season training camp in his native Scotland before returning to London to begin their run of friendly matches ahead of the new campaign.

So far the Hammers are scheduled to face Reading, Northampton and Celtic, all away from home before the league opener on August, 14th.
