Key UGA OT ruled out for Missouri game

Georgia Bulldogs left tackle Jamaree Salyer has been ruled out for the Missouri game with a foot injury. Salyer is additionally expected to miss the Tennessee game on Nov. 13.

Salyer is considered to be UGA’s top 2022 NFL draft prospect along the offensive front. He brings experience, talent, and physicality to the Georgia offensive front.

In Salyer’s absence, offensive line coach Matt Luke is anticipated to turn to redshirt freshman Broderick Jones. Jones, a former five-star recruit, has played in all eight of UGA’s games this season. He filled in for Salyer late during the Auburn game.

It will be interesting to see how Georgia shuffles the offensive line. The Bulldogs have started the same group of Warren Ericson, Justin Shaffer, Sedrick Van Pran, and Warren McClendon along with Salyer since the Dawgs played UAB.

Kirby Smart and company frequently switch up the offensive line rotation when games get out of hand.

Ugasports.com and Dawgs247 reported the news on the Salyer’s foot injury first.
