A key road in South Bristol is partially blocked this evening (Tuesday) after a crash. A vehicle has overturned on Winterstoke Road and is currently on its roof on the side of the street.
The southbound side of the road in Bedminster is currently closed as emergency services deal with the incident. Winterstoke Road is currently closed at the Sainsbury's roundabout next to the HMS Flying Fox naval base.
Police, the fire service and ambulance have been called to the scene. Injuries are currently unknown. Traffic is currently gridlock for motorists heading from Ashton Gate to Bedminster and Parson Street. Duckmoor Road and Luckwell Road are being used as a diversion route.
