Key fashion trends of the season: Men's knitwear

On planet fashion, Missoni is pretty much king when it comes to all things knitted. This collection was a triumph in wool. It warmed our frozen fashion hearts when we saw it unveiled alfresco on a chilly January evening in Milan. Take a leaf from the Missoni book and experiment with patterns and textures.

Wrist warmers, £8
At first glance you may think, "Why on earth would I need or want those?" You could not be more wrong; the wrist warmer is essential winter kit. Bridging the gap between jumper and glove or even, for the daring, replacing the glove altogether. We like to think Take That's Mark Owen would sport this particular Aztec pair
