Leeds United have one less rival in their reported bid to land superstar Edinson Cavani.
The Whites have been linked with a move for the former PSG star who became a free agent this summer.
The Uruguayan is a proven goalscorer at the top level and there's no doubt he would be a huge addition as Leeds United head into the Premier League.
But any hopes of them landing Cavani looked to have been ruined when it emerged Bayern Munich may be interested.
These fears have been allayed however, as the German champions have been ruled out of the race.
Or at least that's according to German football expert and head of football for Bild Christian Falk.
Falk retweeted a report claiming Bayern were interested and wrote "NOT TRUE".
That's one less significant rival Leeds would have if indeed they are interested in Cavani this summer.
Though, Portuguese giants Benfica are reportedly still interested.
Cavani spent six years at PSG, scoring a whopping 138 league goals in 200 league appearances.
The 33-year-old moved to Paris after an even more impressive spell at Napoli when he managed 52 league goals in 60 games.
