Key difference between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton's royal baby official announcements

As well as giving a surprise interview outside their Windsor home, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry released an official statement saying their royal baby had been born.

It gave details of the birth, an update on Meghan and the couple's families.

The statement is traditional for royal babies, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge released similar ones after the births of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

But there was one very key difference between the Cambridge and the Sussex statements.

Meghan and Harry gave an update on the family members they had told, including Diana's relatives, and said they were all "delighted with the news".
