The English Football League have confirmed when Nottingham Forest will discover their fixtures for the 2021/22 season.
The Reds have all but guaranteed another campaign of Championship football, with Saturday’s 0-0 draw away to Bristol City leaving them 13 points clear of the relegation zone with five games remaining.
And they will be aiming to challenge at the opposite end of the table next time around, with boss Chris Hughton targeting an assault on the top six.
And there isn’t too long to wait before the planning can begin for the new term, with the schedule to be unveiled in little more than two months’ time.
The fixtures will be released for all three EFL divisions at 9am on Thursday, June 24.
Forest will hope the new season will see them play in front of their own fans for the first time since March last year.
Since then, matches at the City Ground have been taking place behind closed doors due to the coronavirus pandemic - but it is hoped crowds will return for the start of the new campaign.
Last month, the EFL announced the 2021/22 campaign will kick off on Saturday, August 7, for all three divisions.
