Andrea Radrizzani has shuffled Leeds United’s board of directors with former Real Madrid chief Ivan Bravo exiting Elland Road.
Bravo was Radrizzani’s first major appointment when he took control in West Yorkshire, drafting in the experienced director in April 2017.
Bravo’s experience was put to good use by Radrizzani, who leaned on him for advice and guidance in his early days at LS11.
However, across the past two years Bravo’s influence has receded in line with his growing portfolio overseas, namely as Aspire Academy’s director general and AD Alcorcon’s owner.
LeedsLive understands little has been seen of Bravo for the past year to 18 months at Elland Road and Thursday’s Companies House termination is just a formality.
United released a statement on Thursday afternoon: “Ivan Bravo has stepped down from the Leeds United board of directors.
“Bravo, general director of Aspire Academy and technical director of the Qatar Football Association, has proved influential in his role as an advisor to the club since Andrea Radrizzani’s takeover.
“Ivan leaves to focus on his other responsibilities and will always be welcome at Elland Road.”
United’s current board is made up of Radrizzani, Angus Kinnear, Paraag Marathe and Andre Tegner.
