Kevin Spacey settles lawsuit after sexual assault accuser dies

A sexual assault lawsuit against Kevin Spacey has reportedly been settled after the anonymous massage therapist who accused him died.

The House of Cards actor was accused of forcing a massage therapist to touch his genitals and trying to kiss him, during a session back in 2016, which Spacey denied.

But, after the alleged victim died in September, thought to be following a battle with cancer, his estate filed a notice to dismiss the lawsuit.

According to Variety, each side agreed to pay their own costs, with no other terms disclosed.

The filing follows news that another of Spacey’s accusers, Norwegian author and former royal Ari Behn, died by suicide on Christmas Day.

Over Christmas, Spacey released a new and unnerving video in which he resurrected his House of Cards character Frank Underwood, and spoke of killing people “with kindness”.
