Kevin Peterson, KhaDarel Hodge shine as PFF’s top-graded Rams

The Los Angeles Rams certainly wish their preseason opener went a little bit better than it did as they were knocked off by the Raiders, 14-3. The offense really had a hard time getting anything going, while the defense struggled to stop the likes of Mike Glennon and Nathan Peterman.

There were some strong performances from a handful of players, though they were few and far between. Pro Football Focus graded every player on the field Saturday night and released its top-graded Rams from the first week of the preseason.

It’s no surprise that Kevin Peterson earned the top spot, followed by KhaDarel Hodge and his three catches for 48 yards. It must be noted that this list only includes players who were on the field for at least 25 snaps, which means Blake Bortles, Darrell Henderson and John Wolford did not qualify.

On defense, it excludes a bunch of players who stood out, including Taylor Rapp, Greg Gaines, Sebastian Joseph-Day and Micah Kiser.
