Kevin O'Sullivan fans plot to keep his column in Sunday Mirror

There have been howls of anguish on Twitter following Kevin O’Sullivan’s announcement that his Sunday Mirror television column is being axed. For 10 years O’Sullivan has been applying his scalpel of humour to the body of TV – but from 21 February, it will be no more. However, might the Mirror top brass be persuaded to change their minds? A fan of O’Sullivan’s hopes so, and has started up a petition to get his column reinstated. So far it has support from more than 120 people, including Only Fools and Horses star John Challis. Even rival Ian Hyland expressed his solidarity with this Dead Poets Society-related picture – though he stopped short of proclaiming: “Oh captain! My captain!”
