In-demand Kevin Nisbet faces "crunch" talks about his Hibs future when he returns to pre-season training.
Nisbet slammed home 18 goals in all competitions last season with his outstanding form seeing Steve Clarke select the 24-year-old for Scotland's Euro 2020 squad.
That form has seen speculation linger over the future of the attacker despite keeping the star man at Easter Road in January amid interest from Birmingham City.
The capital side seem to be preparing for more interest this summer with the Edinburgh Evening News reporting that "crunch talks" will take place before he rejoins the group following the tournament exit.
Reports south of the border claim Sunderland are interested in the star, with Celtic also being named as a potential suitor this season.
Nisbet has been granted extra time off ahead of his return to Hibs for pre-season training.
He didn’t manage a start but came off the bench in all three matches with the Scots’ campaign ending at Hampden on Tuesday night after a 3-1 defeat to Croatia.
Nisbet will get almost a week’s rest, with the rest of his Easter Road teammates due to report to East Mains for pre-season training on Monday ahead of the Scottish Premiership season.
