Hibs manager Jack Ross has branded speculation over a swap deal involving Kevin Nisbet and Leigh Griffiths "nonsense".
Ross has dismissed any notion of the star Easter Road striker leaving in a part-exchange deal for an out-of-favour Celtic star Griffiths.
Broadcaster Peter Martin reported on Saturday there was a cash plus player deal on the cards to take Nisbet to Glasgow.
The speculation was, briefly, further fuelled by the Scotland international's omission from Hibs ' squad to face Dundee, but the club quickly clarified he was absent through injury.
And Ross then moved to quash the transfer rumours ahead of kick-off at Dens Park.

He told Sky Sports: "I was surprised to hear about it yesterday, because unless people at the club aren't telling me things - which I don't imagine is the case - then it's nonsense, really.
"It just shows how something can be created and people can run with it.
"As far as we're concerned there's absolutely no truth in it."
