Kevin Nisbet a Sheffield United transfer 'target' as Hibs striker chased by several English clubs

Sheffield United are targeting a move for Hibs striker Kevin Nisbet, according to a report.

The 23-year-old, who has scored 12 goals in 24 games for Jack Ross' side this season, continues to impress since arriving at Easter Road in the summer.

And the Scottish Sun claim the Blades are 'keeping tabs' on the talisman with the transfer window opening on Friday.

But the Premier League side could face stiff competition for Nisbet as the report states several English clubs are also tracking the forward.

Hibs coughed up £250,000 to sign Nisbet from Dunfermline in the summer and the former Partick Thistle youngster has excelled during his debut campaign in Leith.

Chris Wilder already has Scotland strikers Oli McBurnie and Oli Burke on his books at Brammall Lane, but his side have stuttered in front of goal.

The Blades ae languishing at the bottom of the Premier League with no wins from their opening 15 games - 11 points from safety.
