Kevin Nisbet a Celtic transfer 'target' but Hibs striker won't come cheap as Ange Postecoglou continues rebuild

Kevin Nisbet is Celtic's latest target as Ange Postecoglou continues his summer rebuild, according to a report.

On Thursday the Parkhead club confirmed striker Leigh Griffiths had penned a one-year contract extension.

But now the Aussie manager is looking for reinforcements up top — and the Hibs striker fits the bill, according to the Daily Mail.

The Easter Road frontman finished joint-second in the Scottish Premiership scoring stakes with only Odsonne Edouard scoring more.

Edouard remains likely to leave the club this summer despite a move to Leicester City looking dead in the water now.

Nisbet featured off the bench in all three of Scotland's Euro 2020 matches and even netted within minutes of coming on against the Netherlands on his debut in a warm-up friendly.

It's claimed more than £4m will be required to tempt Jack Ross and the Hibs hierarchy into selling up.

Birmingham City had a late approach rebuffed at the end of the winter window but they're set to be tested further in the summer.

Postecoglou meanwhile sealed the arrival of Sheffield Wednesday defender Osaze Urhoghide on Thursday but wants more bodies in the door before his Champions League qualifier with FC Midtjylland on July 20.
