Kevin Maguire: Jeremy Corbyn's little red book is fizzing with life-improving ideas

Comrade Corbyn's little red book is certainly bold, radical, fizzing with life-improving ideas which would transform the country.

If voters decide on 12 December that Labour's manifesto slogan “It's Time For Real Change” appeals to them, the rebuilding of a better Britain would be enormous.

The 108-page document detailing promises on prosperity, social justice, health, education, environment, opportunities and, yes, Brexit is breathtaking in its goals.

Corbyn is energised by the campaign, his enthusiasm delighting the party faithful at the manifesto launch in Birmingham City University.

He's also unapologetic, boasting rather than downplaying the almost revolutionary intent of Labour under his leadership.

Corbyn's proud to be opposed by selfish billionaires, bad bosses, dodgy landlords, big polluters, greedy private healthcare corporations and rip-off rail Fat Controllers.

He appealed for grafters to vote for themselves and their families while remembering the struggling and unfortunate.

Brexit's sidelined as he fights an election about much, much more than Britain's future in Europe.

Stressing his patriotism is pride in a country which helps everybody instead of attacking others, we'll know the electorate's verdict three weeks tomorrow.

Huge tax rises on the 5% earning more than £80,000 a year and large corporations and the wealthy would fund his programme.

Unlike the Tories in 2017, Labour's again priced the pledges and itemised where the money come.

He and his party are behind cynical liar Boris Johnson's dishonest Tories in the opinion polls.

Can Corbyn pull off an incredible victory? It's possible. There's a lot worth voting for in Labour's programme.
