Kevin Huerter Sustains Left Shoulder Injury During Game Against Memphis

Huerter injured left shoulder in collision with Desmond Bane.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Sacramento Kings guard Kevin Huerter suffered a left shoulder injury during Monday night's game against the Memphis Grizzlies. The incident occurred early in the first quarter when Grizzlies guard Desmond Bane made contact with Huerter's left arm as he attempted a layup. This collision forced Huerter to the ground, resulting in him leaving the game. Bane was assessed a common foul for the play.

After the injury, Huerter was unable to continue and was subsequently ruled out for the remainder of the game. Despite the early exit, Huerter managed to contribute with a rebound, assist, and steal before his departure to the locker room while cradling his injured arm.

This is not the first time Huerter has faced injury concerns this season. He missed a game against the Los Angeles Lakers earlier due to a right leg contusion but returned to action against the New York Knicks on Saturday.

Throughout the current season, the 25-year-old guard has been a key player for the Kings, averaging 10.4 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. He has also maintained a 36.1% shooting accuracy from beyond the arc, showcasing his proficiency as a three-point shooter.
