Kevin Hart reportedly suffered 'major' injuries in a horror car accident in the early hours of Sunday morning.
As worried fans begged for updates on the comedian's condition, his wife Eniko Hart has broken her silence on his health today.
According to The Blast, the 35-year-old model reportedly told photographers outside a Los Angeles hospital that he is "doing fine" after the crash.
She said: "He's great. He's going to be just fine."
Kevin was a passenger in a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda when the driver is said to have lost control of the vehicle which tumbled down an embankment in the Malibu Hills.
He is yet to speak out on the incident.
Dad-of-three Hart was initially well enough to reach his home for medical attention, reports CHP, but he was later taken to Northbridge Hospital Medical Centre for treatment.
According to CNN, both Hart and the driver, Jared Black sustained 'major back injuries.'
Kevin is now understood to have undergone back surgery on Sunday night. A separate source also told TMZ that Kevin will be remaining in hospital for at least a couple of days while he recovers.
While sources close to the US star, told The Blast that doctors are said to be optimistic he will make a full recovery.
Pictures of Sunday's crash have revealed the devastating damage to the vehicle.
The roof of Kevin's car is missing and there's severe damage to the bodywork.
While the front wheels also appear to be hanging off.
Witnesses of the collision say Kevin had been the first to get out of the car, and that a member of his security team showed up in an SUV to pick him up.
