Kevin Hart in a wheelchair, injured after abdominal muscle tears

Kevin Hart is in a wheelchair after doing some "young stuff", the actor has revealed in a post on Instagram. The Jumanji actor has explained how he ended up in a wheelchair after "being the dumbest man alive."

In the video, Hart has explained how he tried to race his friend, former NFL player Stevan Ridley, and ended up injuring himself. “Ladies and gentleman, the age 40 is real,” he said in the video. “All my men, women out there 40 years old and above, it’s not a game. Respect that age," he added.

“I tore my lower abdomen, my abductors are torn. I don’t know what that is but I tore them. I tore those too. I can’t walk,” the 44 year old has revealed about his current health condition.

To those who are not aware, abductor muscles are those that cause movement of limbs for example, like raising the arms to the side or spreading the fingers. Wear and tear in the abdominal muscles majorly happens due to an intensive injury. It mostly happens in sports activity and also due to accidents. The pain feels like a sharp stabbing pain, there is swelling, bruising, and cramps in the abdomen. It also gets difficult to stretch or flex the muscles. For immediate relief, one can apply cold therapy or heat therapy to the abdominal area.

In response to Hart's social media post, Dwayne Johnson has also shared his injured. "In tore my adductor off my pelvis during a wrestling match. True story. You’ll be fine. You’ll grow a 3rd ball but you’ll be fine. Heal up."

In response to a question on why he thought of racing in the first place, Hart referred himself as the “stupidest man alive”.

This is not the first time, Hart has been injured; in 2019 he suffered major back injuries due to a car crash.
