Here’s a sentence I’d never, ever thought I’d type: There’s a new Adam Sandler drama starring New York radio legend Mike Francesa and future Hall of Famer Kevin Garnett.
As KG once screamed, anything is possible.
The flick is called Uncut Gems, and per A24 Films, it’s the tale of Howard Ratner (played by Sandler), “a charismatic New York City jeweler always on the lookout for the next big score. When he makes a series of high-stakes bets that could lead to the windfall of a lifetime, Howard must perform a precarious high-wire act, balancing business, family, and encroaching adversaries on all sides, in his relentless pursuit of the ultimate win.”
Garnett plays himself, but Francesa, per the New York Post, plays Sandler’s bookie.
