Kevin Durant wins All Star Game MVP with 31 points and 7 rebounds

For the second time in his illustrious career, Kevin Durant has won the MVP of the NBA’s All-Star Game. In 25 minutes, Durant dropped 31 points on 15 shots with seven rebounds. Durant won the award for the first time in 2012.

Because he was the MVP, the charity of his choice will receive a brand new 2020 Kia Telluride.

His teammate in the game, Klay Thompson finished with 20 points himself. Steph Curry, who played for team Giannis, finished with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists and two of the best plays of the game. His alley-oop pass to Giannis was the play of the night and his 4-point play over Klay Thompson may have been the most fun.

Giannis Antetokounmpo paced everyone on the night with 38 points and 11 rebounds. His team got out to a nice 1st half lead, but Team LeBron turned up the defensive effort in the second half while Damian Lillard and Durant started pouring it in on the offensive end to help put them over the top.
