Kevin Durant will meet with 4 teams, including Dubs, in free agency

Free agency in the NBA is a wild and fascinating time. Every team’s fan base believes that a big name free agent is going to choose their team.

The biggest name in the 2019 NBA free agent market is Golden State Warriors superstar Kevin Durant. Despite the fact that he will miss the 2019-20 season with an Achilles injury suffered in Game 5 of the NBA Finals, there are still plenty of teams who are interested in his services.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Durant will take a meeting with four teams as free agency begins on Sunday evening. Those four teams will be the Los Angeles Clippers, the Brooklyn Nets, the New York Knicks, and the Warriors.

Durant is one of the best players in the league and he instantly turns any team he’s on into legitimate title contenders. The Warriors can offer him the most money due to CBA rules, but Durant may be looking onward to other pastures.

Free agency is set to begin on Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m. EST and it will be interesting to see where Durant ends up. If he heads back to Golden State, they can continue their dynastic run once he’s fully recovered. If he joins one of the other teams, that team now enters the title conversation. It’s a situation to keep an eye on.
