Kevin Durant, Patrick Beverley ejected in 4th quarter after double technical

With about 4:41 left to play in the fourth quarter, Kevin Durant bumped Clippers guard Patrick Beverley out of bounds. Beverley popped up, not happy about the play and started jawing at Durant.

Durant didn’t step down and said some things back to Beverley. With a referee standing right in between them, he issued technical fouls to each of them, which led to ejections for both of them with their second technical fouls.

Beverley has quite the history with the Warriors, with a lot of comments about his ability to stop both Steph Curry and Klay Thompson. In December, Beverley and Curry got called for double technicals following a fight over a ball after a whistle.

The Warriors were able to pull out the win without Durant for the last few minutes of the game. Curry finished with 38, 15 and 7, unphased by Beverley or any other defender throughout the night.
