Kevin Durant passes Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade with pair of playoff milestones

The Golden State Warriors dropped Game 3 in their second-round series with the Houston Rockets in an overtime, but it wasn’t all bad for forward Kevin Durant.

Durant finished with 46 points, three rebounds and six assists, giving him at least 30 points in six of his last seven playoff games. More importantly, though, Durant was able to reach a couple of milestones in the game, passing a pair of NBA legends.

First, Durant was able to move past Kobe Bryant to become seventh all-time on the all-time made three-pointers list in postseason history. With the jump, Durant joins Stephen Curry (1st) and Klay Thompson (tied-4th) in the top seven.

Later in the game, Durant moved ahead of Dwyane Wade to become 10th all-time on the postseason scoring list, finishing with 3,976 postseason points. Up next on the list is Tony Parker at No. 9, who is currently 69 points ahead of Durant.

Not the best night for the Warriors, but it was a huge night for Durant.
