Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving went to Miami together after All-Star Game

As if things weren’t already fishy between Kevin Durant, the Knicks and Kyrie Irving, ESPN’s Brian Windhorst spoke about the relationship between Durant and Irving over the All-Star weekend.

On ESPN radio, Windhorst said the two were inseparable, working out together, eating together and, after the weekend ended, even took a trip together to Miami.

“I was talking to some people who were with ‘Team Free Agent’, I mean ‘Team LeBron’ at All-Star, and they said that Kyrie and KD were like a middle school couple that weekend. Eating together. … Doing drills together at practice. ‘I’ll rebound for you. You rebound for me. I’ll post you up. You post me up.’ They were eating together. They went to Miami together after the weekend.”

Ever since the New York Knicks traded away All-Star forward Kristaps Porzingis, creating two max slots for free agents this summer, rumors about Durant joining Irving on the Knicks have been intensified sparking both players to lash out at the media over questions about their current teams and what their plans are for the summer.

There was even a video during All-Star weekend with Irving and Durant talking about “two max slots” in a tunnel.

All of this, of course, could mean nothing. But when there’s smoke, there’s fire, and it’s looking like Durant could want to team up with Irving over the summer — most likely in New York.
