Kevin De Bruyne sends warning to former club Chelsea over Jadon Sancho transfer chase

Chelsea have been heavily tipped to make a move for Jadon Sancho this summer.

But they will face competition for the flying forward.

Manchester United have also been linked with a move for the teenager and it could come down to a straight shoot-out between the two Premier League sides for Sancho's signature.

Sancho has been a force of nature for Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga and has struck up an impressive partnership with Erling Braut Haaland since the striker's move from RB Salzburg.

Sancho, who turned 20 last week, has an astonishing 30 goal and 40 assists in 84 league and Champions League games for the German outfit. And it is little wonder that he is highly-sought after.

He has established himself as a regular in Gareth Southgate's England team and has the world at his feet.

If he signs for a Premier League side this summer he will be returning to England where it all began, having started his career with Manchester City, albeit never make a first team appearance during his teenage years.

Kevin De Bruyne, who could not tie down a regular place in Chelsea's first team before finding fame elsewhere and becoming one of the Premier League's biggest stars at Manchester City, met Sancho on a couple of occasions at City's training base.

And he issued a warning to the Blues, and City's Manchester rivals United over a move for the frontman.

Speaking on Instagram Live with his Belgian team-mates Romelu Lukaku and Axel Witsel, De Bruyne said: "He is crazy. It's weird, I trained a few times with him and he was gone - unbelievable.

"Sometimes it goes like this but it is good for him. Now if you want him you have to pay... I don't want to know!"

The reported figure for Sancho is around the £130million mark.
