Kevin De Bruyne's cheeky x-rated dig at Pep Guardiola after title triumph

Few can criticise Pep Guardiola after the Spanish manager led his Manchester City side to a remarkable Premier League triumph last weekend.

But Kevin De Bruyne showed a different side to his relationship with his manager, light-heartedly mocking him him in a hilarious clip that has circulated on social media.

The pair were enjoying the title celebrations on the Amex pitch after City came from behind to seal a 4-1 win over Brighton and retain their league crown.

Guardiola was seen embracing his Belgian playmaker, who came on as a second-half substitute in that win, in front of the travelling support.

De Bruyne then joked to Guardiola: “You'e a s*** coach. You only win!"

The manager was left confused by the remark as the player burst out laughing, before the title party continued on the pitch.

Last month former Chelsea midfielder De Bruyne opened up on his relationship with his manager, revealing they both strive for success.

“Pep and I share a similar mentality,” De Bruyne wrote in The Players’ Tribune .

“To be fair, he’s even more intense about football than I am. He’s so, so stressed — all the time. However much mental stress we are under as players, I think he is under twice as much. Because he is not just interested in winning. He wants perfection.

“The first meeting I ever had with Pep, he said, ‘Kevin, listen. You can be — easily — a top five player in the world. Top five. Easily.’ I was shocked.

"But when Pep said it with so much belief, it changed my whole mentality. It was kind of genius, I think. Because I felt like I had to prove him right, instead of prove him wrong.”
