Kevin de Bruyne jokes about Eden Hazard transfer to Real Madrid

Manchester City midfielder Kevin de Bruyne has joked that Eden Hazard is already in Madrid as speculation mounts over his Chelsea future.

Reports suggest Chelsea and Real Madrid have finally agreed a fee for the Belgian winger who looks set to move to the Spanish capital in the summer transfer window.

Although the latest rumours suggest a deal has been agreed between the two clubs there has been no official announcement made by either side.

Hazard is currently away on international duty with the Belgian national side, and it seems like his international teammates are all well aware of the impending transfer.

De Bruyne is one such figure and when he took part in an Instragram live video with Dries Mertens on Thursday it was only natural that the talk of Hazard would crop up.

When asked by one viewer about Hazard’s whereabouts, De Bruyne joked: "In Madrid, for sure."

Speaking earlier in the week De Bruyne admitted he was confident a move for Hazard would take place this summer, but admitted that the Chelsea winger would need to be patient during the negotiations.

“I think the move will take place, but not in 1,2,3 days," De Bryune told  VTM NIEUWS . "I had to wait for 3 months when I joined City."
