Kevin Crewe: Police believe man's death is not suspicious after body found

The death of a man whose body was found in St Philips is not thought to be suspicious, say police.

Avon and Somerset police found a body in the search for the missing Kevin Crewe just before 5.30pm yesterday (September 15), in water off Feeder Road.

"While formal identification has not yet taken place, we’ve updated the family of missing Bristol man Kevin Crewe about this development," said a police spokesperson.

The force said yesterday that the death was being treated as unexplained.

In an update today, the spokesman said: "At this time we believe this death to be non-suspicious. Enquiries will continue on behalf of the coroner."

Kevin, 62, was last seen at about 9pm on Monday (September 13) in East Street, Bedminster.
