Former Everton captain Kevin Campbell believes it is a “smart move” by Carlo Ancelotti to include youngsters in his squad.
Since the Premier League restarted back in June, the experienced boss has handed both Anthony Gordon and Jarrad Branthwaite starts in the top-flight.
While for the game against Sheffield United, Ancelotti handed a place in his matchday squad to young forward Ellis Simms.
And Campbell, speaking ahead of the game at Bramall Lane, believes the three-time Champions League winner will lose nothing from learning what seeing what some of the youngsters can do.

“I think it is a smart move by Carlo Ancelotti to look at some of the youth," he told Amazon Prime.
“He knows now what he needs to do with the experienced players. They have done some good and some bad.
“But some of the youngsters who haven’t played he gets a look at what they can do.”
