Kevin Bridges 'steaming outside McDonalds' during two-day stag do bender

Kevin Bridges would have had to laugh after his stag do turned into a social media event as locals tagged him in updates on his two-day Irish pub crawl.

The Scottish comedian, engaged to Glasgow restaurant boss Kerry Monaghan, ended up in McDonald’s where a reveller said Kevin was “steaming” but on good form.

Kevin, 32, arrived at Dublin Airport where he bumped into fellow Scots Jen and Graeme Gordon. Jen joked on Insta: “Graeme’s new best pal – Kevin Bridges – reeking of football.”

The comic and his pals then travelled to Galway, where they were spotted in the city’s Eyre Square shortly after arriving on Friday.

Local lad Donal O’Keeffe said: “Ya looked like you were having a great time. Was going to say hello but you were with your mates and we all deserve a day off.”

Kevin and his mates then enjoyed beers in Taaffes Bar, with Glasgow’s Michael McGuigan posting up a pic of him and the comedian, saying: “Just having a casual wee chat with Kevin Bridges in Taaffes in Galway.”

He then went to the nearby Blue Note pub. At 1.26am, Limerick lad James McGrath tweeted: “Just had a drink with Kevin Bridges what a guy.”

The next day, a still fresh-looking Kevin posed for snaps with punters at An Pucan beer garden. Galway girl Gillian McGrath said: “When you’re on your lunch and bump into the legendary Kevin Bridges – day made.”

Kevin also met local comic Dave Sullivan, who joked: “Never meet your heroes. Nah man. Bulls***.”

By Saturday night, Kevin seemed a bit worse for wear in McDonald’s looking for grub. Simon Prior said: “Kevin Bridges steaming outside McDonalds is the most random thing I’ve ever witnessed. Great character.”

Kevin later said of his bash: “Galway. Different Class.”
