A Christmas Fayre held at Kettleholm Village Hall on Saturday was a big success.
Organised by Daryl Collins of Kettleholm, members of the public enjoyed a browse around the 56 stalls ranging from delicious home baking to smelling candles.
Daryl said: “The turnout was better than expected and has put our little village on the map.

“All our stallholders had a fabulous time and some new friendships have been made.
“We look forward to welcoming people again for another fayre this weekend.
“Fifty per cent of entry proceeds are being donated to help St Mungo Primary purchase new gym equipment and from the weekend there, we managed to raise an amazing £265 for the school from the entry fee, donations and raffle.”
