Kettle Chips unveils exotic Thai Chilli flavour - and fans are loving the new crisp variety

One of the UK's favourite crisp maker has launched new variety to spice up lockdown - and fans think they're delicious.

Kettle Chips has unveiled its brand-new Thai Sweet Chilli variety following a period of taste tests by potential consumers.

Made with a fiery yet sweet Thai-inspired flavouring on the brand’s hand-cooked potato chips, this new variety has already claimed the top spot in among crisps fans involved in the taste tests.

Developed by innovation chef, Phil Hovey, the Thai Sweet Chilli flavour uses high-quality, real food ingredients famous throughout authentic Thai recipes, including soy, star anise, coriander and bold chilli to create a harmonious balance of exotic spices, fiery heat and gentle sweetness.

Phil said: “We are extremely excited to be launching this Thai Sweet Chilli variety.

"The seasoning features iconic Thai ingredients with real depth of flavour that combine perfectly to take crisp-lovers on a flavour journey unlike any other.

"After seeing them come out so well in taste tests we couldn’t wait to see them hit the shelves.”

Now available nationwide at Waitrose and Tesco, the new flavour will also be entering Asda stores from May (RRP: £1.99).
