Kesha is 'mostly celibate' and 'masturbates to gratitude meditations'

Singer Kesha

Kesha "masturbates to gratitude meditations".

The 39-year-old pop star gets self-pleasure from the mindfulness practice in which she focuses on things she is thankful for.

Kesha revealed on the latest episode of 31-year-old Alex Cooper's Call Her Daddy podcast: "I actually like masturbating to gratitude meditations."

Alex Cooper initially thought the TiK ToK hitmaker was "lying" to her, before Kesha replied: "Don’t knock it till you try it."

The two-time Grammy nominee has been getting as much "pleasure" as possible now that she has "freedom" as an independent artist.

Kesha explained: "I keep coming back to pleasure. It is OK as a woman to feel pleasure in this world. When you go through things, pleasure is not the number one neural pathway that your brain always goes to when you have survived things.

"And I had to reprogram that, and I do it every f****** day, and I'm not even embarrassed about it."

Elsewhere in the podcast episode, the We R Who We R performer lifted the lid on another detail about her sex life.

Kesha said: "I'm now mostly celibate, except from when you're in Italy."

She then clarified to a confused Alex: "I'm celibate, except for when I'm in Italy."

The Praying singer, who is currently single, shared how her "pu***" has been "manifesting with gratitude" for her "king" - who must meet Kesha's standards.

Kesha opened up about some people she has dated in the past, including a man with "one eye" whose scent she compared to a "Subway sandwich that had been sitting in the back of your car for a couple of days".

The star recently revealed she dumped her boyfriend after being released from her recording contract with Kemosabe in December 2023, six months after her long-running legal battle with 52-year-old producer Dr Luke - real name Lukasz Gottwald - ended.

Kesha told Rolling Stone's Music Now podcast: "When I got this insane call that I was gonna be free in three months’ time, it was like being in a movie. It was such an insane phone call to get. And from that moment onward, I’ve just been on 11. So it’s crazy, but I’m good, and I feel very alive...

"Literally the second I got that call, I looked around and was like, 'Anything that does not make me feel free has to go.'

"So I called the guy I was dating and very lovingly was like, this is not it. I went to the woods, I started meditating heavily.

"It’s been this obsession for me to try to see what makes me feel free and what doesn’t, including the stuff in my house. I don’t wanna be beholden to a genre of music.

"Being blonde to be a pop star - it was frying my hair. That doesn’t make me feel free. I’m gonna have f****** roots, goddammit.

"Anything that I feel beholden to, even subconsciously that I’m maybe not even aware of, I’ve started really trying to analyse what feels good and what doesn’t."
